Florida Gators Early Enrollee Signing Day Central

Signing a National Letter of Intent is a memorable moment for all prospects as well as their family and friends.

Today is National Signing Day for junior college prospects as it marks the beginning of the signing period for Mid-Year Enrollees, more commonly called ?Early Enrollees.?

These signees enroll in classes in January and can join the team of their choice for spring practices, often getting a leg up on contributing early, especially if they?re a junior college transfer. Just look at this past signing class with early enrollees DJ Humphries, Damien Jacobs, Antonio Morrison and Latroy Pittman helping the Gators

With Wednesday such a big day for junior college prospects, the Gators will ink three prospects on Wednesday afternoon that will officially become members of Gator Nation.

Offensive linemen Trenton Brown and Tyler Moore join defensive lineman Darious Cummings as transfers who will sign on the dotted line and fax in their paperwork to the University Athletic Administration.

After signing the dotted line all of the prospects can turn their attention to playing the game they love instead of having to worry about the recruiting process.

In addition, Florida is expecting at least four high school prospects to enroll early, although these prospects do not actually sign letters of intent. They are running back Kelvin Taylor, linebackers Daniel McMillan and Matt Rolin and safety Marcell Harris. All four are highly ranked in the latest Gator Country Composite Rankings.

Be sure to check back with GatorCountry.com throughout the day as we will report when each fax has been received by UF. We?ll post feature stories here:
